getting my thesis statement approved for Position Paper

I never thought that to get my thesis statement approved by my lecturer would feel like Hercules facing the 12 task by Zeus, a lot of rejection and sarcasm by lecturers but hey, that what makes life interesting right, hardship and sarcasm. Well the lecturer did approve my thesis statement ‘Mrs Foster is the symbol of feminism against male chauvinism’ however he not convinced with my supporting points and whether it related to my thesis statement. I saw the reaction of my friends when the lecturer rejects the thesis statement of half of the class when he wipes the white board where we wrote all of our thesis statements; like a wave wiping out the sand castle made by the children on the shore. Well you get the point. At first the lecturer said 2 of my points are not relevant so I change it. Then he said that I need to change the action of the character in the story that I use as points and actually change it into points instead of directly use it as point. Well it took me a week to remix everything that I had and change it into acceptable points. For me this is the first time facing such a requirements from the lecturer in coming out with thesis statements and it is a nice experience for me in pursuing my degree.
