three cheers for coming out with thesis statement!!!

My thesis statement for my research paper is ‘how Roald Dahl using men and women in creating the perfect irony’. And I want to show it using the short story ‘Lamb to the slaughter’ and ‘Mrs. Dixby and the Colonel’s coat’. The reason I choose this story is because I like it and how obvious that men and women in this story making fool out of each other. We all know how men and women have their own ego and this is shown in these short stories how both party’s ego thought they have fooled the other side although actually they themselves is the fool one. In ‘lamb to the slaughter’ the side with high ego is the men and the cunning side is the woman while in the other story is vice versa that is why I chose these two stories. I also want to explore on how men and women that suppose to complete and compliment each other coming out the other way. I think this could be an interesting yet knowledgeable thesis. I really hope so. I really really hope so.
